Dear GF Family and the West Deptford Family at large,
I’d like to take some time to introduce myself as the new principal of Green-Fields Elementary School. My name is Jeff Miller-McGrail, but everyone calls me Mr. M.
I had the privilege of joining the West Deptford Family in 2024 as the Assistant Principal of Green-Fields. Prior to my time in West Deptford, I worked as a curriculum supervisor in the East Greenwich Township School District, a teacher in the Berlin Borough School District, and a teacher in Delaware through Americorps.
Throughout my career, I’ve been guided by a deep belief in the power of relationships, high expectations, and joyful learning. I’m honored and excited to step into this new role and continue the strong traditions that make Green-Fields such a special place. It is clear to me that this is a school and community where students are truly known, cared for, and supported to grow into their best selves.
As principal, my goal is to ensure every child feels a sense of belonging, curiosity, and pride in their learning. I look forward to continuing building strong partnerships with families, staff, and students to keep Green-Fields a place where excellence and kindness go hand in hand.
I hope to always connect with each and every one of you at school events, in the hallways, or even just out at arrival or dismissal. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, introduce yourself, or share your thoughts—I genuinely value your perspective and voice.
